Agile Project Management with Jack Ricchiuto, Nexus Green Building Resource & the Switzer Fellowship Program

Jack Ricchiuto, designer and writer working with groups in organizations and communities, designing ways for them to work well together. He works with boards, leadership and operational teams, project teams, civic and community groups, and strategic planning teams.

Description:
If project management was the automatic by-product of doing projects, projects today would succeed at the rate of 85% instead of fail at the rate of 85%. The good news is that we now have agile and cross-industry practices that bring projects on target, on time, and on budget. This workshop accelerates project success by giving everyone in the organization a common approach to organizing any project under the sun.
The workshop features best practices from the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) and is aligned with the groundbreaking Agile project management methodologies. It also features practices introduced in Jack's books, particularly "Project Zen (DesigningLife Books 2003). Participants work in teams to use their own relevant projects as the focal point for the learning, practice, and applications in the workshop.  .
