Supporting interdisciplinary, environmental research at Tufts is vital to TIE's mission. By providing funding through the following programs, TIE encourages Tufts students and faculty to explore their passions, pursue exciting lines of inquiry, and make critical connections across disciplines.
Offered to Tufts graduate students who wish to conduct independent, interdisciplinary, environmental research projects. Selected students will receive funding support to cover costs related to equipment, travel, data collection, data analysis, research supplies, and a summer research living stipend.
Can be used to offset transportation and registration expenses for members of the Tufts community (students and faculty) who wish to attend or present at environmentally related conferences, workshops, and meetings, or who wish to collect data for environmentally-related research.
Co-sponsored by TIE and the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), this internship program provides students the opportunity to gain valuable, real-life experience working on global environmental policy issues. Students benefit from the guidance and mentorship provided by both SEI and TIE.
