WSSS Academic Leadership

The Water: Systems, Science, and Society brings together not only students, but faculty and staff members, to study water and its intersectionalities within disciplines and to learn from one another in working towards cleaner water, more equitable water access, and more sustainable systems, among other water related aspirations.

The steering committee lead the charge and serve as advisors to students within the program while preparing for the future direction of the WSSS program. Research-track students benefit from the guidance of these innovators and exemplary researchers who are committed to challenging students to think critically about water within and beyond the student’s academic discipline. Practica students benefit directly from the guidance of the Steering Committee who often lead one or more practica groups in the Spring semester of the first year.
