Conference presented by Biodiversity for a Livable Climate, co-hosted by TIE and the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy
Shown above is degraded land in Zimbabwe, restored using Holistic Management, one of many eco-restoration approaches that will be addressed. All of the plants covering bare ground are built of carbon that was previously polluting the atmosphere — roots and soil life capture even more carbon in bio-molecules stable for centuries or longer. Restoring over 12 billion acres of degraded land has the potential to reverse global warming. Expert scientists, practitioners, and activists will present this cutting edge approach to climate in an engaging, interactive, and paradigm-shifting conference.
