Katherine is a candidate for Master’s of Science in Conservation Medicine Class of 2018, planning on pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine. She graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a BS in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution and a BA in English. Her time in southern California inspired her research interest in urban carnivores, particularly the impacts of anthropogenic activities on the health of urban wildlife populations. Other than her career pursuit, Katherine also enjoys reading literature about natural environment and the human society.
