Experience
Andrew is a Master’s student in the Sustainable Water Management (SWM) program, hosted by TIE. He expects to complete his M.S. in August 2019. Prior to coming to Tufts, Andrew earned his B.S. in Environmental Science from Saint Vincent College in 2014. Andrew also worked in geospatial analysis for a few years, which took him across the country from his home state of Pennsylvania to the Alaskan wilderness and many places in between.
Current Studies and Future Goals
When asked what he found most meaningful about his field of study, Andrew responded with the following: “The Tufts SWM degree is preparing me to become a leader in the water management industry. This degree is allowing me access to a world of training and preparation for a career field that I find fascinating and fulfilling”.
When asked what interested him about pursuing the SWM Degree, Andrew responded with the following: “TIE has created a multidisciplinary approach to learning about the water industry. By being exposed to as many aspects of becoming a water professional I feel I will become a more developed and prepared water professional”.
Andrew hopes to pursue a career in water infrastructure management once he completes his studies at Tufts. “Growing up in rural America I have seen how aging or forgotten infrastructure can leave a community in ruins. I hope work towards improving the quality of life for my community”, he says on the subject.

When not doing school work, Andrew can be found skiing, playing outside, enjoying live music, biking, learning to juggle, and cooking delicious meals on an open fire.
