Join us for a fascinating keynote address by Diane Burko, a featured artist in the exhibition Seeing Glacial Time: Climate Change in the Arctic.

Diane will discuss her two recent expeditions to Antarctica and the Arctic Circle, as well as earlier trips to Iceland. By providing a visual back story, Diane will explain how her practice is now located at the intersection of art and science and how collaborating with scientists contributed to her efforts to blend aesthetics and data making issues of climate change visual and visceral.
You can read more about Diane’s research here in the interview she gave for NPR.
