Current Studies and Future Goals
Prior to Tufts, Victor earned at a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies with a minor in Anthropology from Bowdoin College. After graduating, Victor worked in environmental education and community engagement with high school students and community partners in the Merrimack Valley area. He has also spent the past four summers teaching chemistry and environmental science in an intensive math and science program for underrepresented students in STEM fields. At Tufts, Victor additionally works as a Communications Assistant for Tisch College's Community Partners office.
When asked what he finds most meaningful about his field of study, Victor responded with the following: "STEM and Educational access have always been passions of mine. At Tufts I am able to combine these interests and discover ways in which we can make STEM fields not only physically accessible to all students, but also cognitively, socially, and emotionally."
Upon completing his studies at Tufts, Victor hopes to continue his career in STEM education either through classroom teaching or in non-traditional learning environments.
In his free time, Victor can be found exploring new restaurants, eating great food, and trying new recipes in his own kitchen.
