M.S. Candidate, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department

Rebecca is a first-year master’s student in the Offshore Wind Energy Engineering program. She received her Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Smith College in May of 2020 (virtually). Her focus is the integration of offshore wind energy into the grid, and is doing research into modeling the Eastern Interconnect of the United States using SWITCH. She is passionate about decarbonizing the energy sector and diversifying the world’s energy portfolio. At TIE, she is a programs intern working on the Fellowship program, and is excited to support the interdisciplinary research that is imperative to advancing environmental understanding and action.
