When asked what he found most meaningful about his field of study, Gufran responded with the following: "Overall its a great program where we been studying interdisciplinary approaches and solutions to water related issues in a sustainable way. Another appealing trait [is that SWM is] a one year program specifically formulated for water related science. The program curriculum and faculty is also designed perfectly [so] that in just two semesters you can be exposed to lot of knowledge and [gain] understanding of the subject. I feel really satisfied with my learning through this program and [I am] optimistic that after graduating will contribute to solving water related issues worldwide".
Gufran hopes to work with organizations working for a sustainable world with a particular focus on climate change and it's impacts on water quality and quantity once he completes his studies at Tufts.
