The topic of Innovation for Global Energy Access for this year's event cultivated thought, conversation, and creative action around the essential role of innovation in expanding global energy access through three avenues: Partnerships & Funding, Technological Innovation, and Policy & Regulation.
As innovation must play a critical role in expanding energy access, this year’s discourse centered around the various avenues through which it can be deployed, including technology, policy, funding, and partnerships. TEC 2017 attempted to capture the questions, opportunities, challenges, and exciting new developments within the global energy access landscape. Conference attendees were mobilized to advance the conversation and to pursue creative, collective action towards achieving global energy access.
