Job Description
Tufts Institute of the Environment (TIE) is seeking a graduate or undergraduate student intern to assist with communications and outreach. Duties will include: designing print materials, maintaining web pages, sourcing content for social media, writing blog posts, producing e-newsletters, creating images and videos, and assisting with other tasks as needed. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in expanding their marketing and outreach skills within the environmental field. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about assisting in developing TIE’s print and online communications.

Job Requirements
This job is best suited to a student who is interested in championing the environmental activities of TIE and other environmental organizations. The successful applicant must: demonstrate a great interest in sharing and promoting environmental activities; have great writing skills; have a desire to create compelling content; be familiar with image editing, page layout, print design (Creative Suite) and website management (WordPress). Students from any Tufts program may apply, but students with work-study awards are given preference.

This position would begin immediately and run through the summer, with an option to extend into the academic year. Hours are very flexible, and can work around your schedule!
