Thursday, March 11 - Saturday, March 13

The past year has been one of tremendous change: from a global pandemic to a worldwide recession; from the racial justice movement to contested elections with the eyes of the world upon them. Incremental, continuous changes are driving our political, economic, and social systems into completely new states. The energy world stands at a tipping point. Whether in technology, politics, or the ecological system itself, the landscape has fundamentally shifted with new challenges and opportunities on the horizon.

Roadmap to 2050

More countries than ever before have committed to carbon-neutral goals, the private sector has made ever more ambitious pledges, and technology that was on the cusp of functionality is now breaking through. With 2021 comes a greater appreciation of the need for clean air and environmental equality. Our ecosystem teeters on the brink: we must take action in the short window of time we have before the damaging effects of climate change are irreversible.

Prepare to join with other energy stakeholders to discuss, debate, and break down these tipping points. During sessions, speakers will explore the challenges to various energy pathways, while incorporating a global, humanist perspective. Of each issue, we want you to askĀ at what cost and to whom?
